Privacy policy

Last updated: 27 September 2026

Sunny Beast is operated by Durley Beast Ltd. This shop and website, including related content, products and services (the “Services”), are powered by Shopify.

This policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information when you visit the site, make a purchase or contact us. If our Terms of Service and this policy ever conflict on personal information, this policy applies.

Please read it carefully. By using the Services, you acknowledge this policy.

Personal information we collect

Personal information is information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. Depending on how you use the shop, this may include:

  • Contact details: name, email, phone, billing and shipping address
  • Payment and transaction details (processed by Shopify and payment providers)
  • Account details: username, password, preferences
  • Order history: items viewed, cart, wishlist, purchases, returns
  • Messages you send us
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser, how you use the site, cookies and similar technologies

We do not treat anonymous or de-identified information as personal information.

Where it comes from

  • Directly from you (account, checkout, emails)
  • Automatically when you use the site (cookies and similar tools)
  • From service providers acting for us (Shopify, payments, shipping, email)
  • From partners or other third parties where relevant

How we use it

  • To run the shop: accounts, payments, orders, shipping, returns, reviews and a working checkout
  • To remember preferences and improve the site
  • To send order emails and, if you have opted in, Field Notes and other shop updates
  • To show relevant ads, including through Shopify and advertising partners, where allowed
  • For security, fraud prevention and to protect the shop
  • To reply to you
  • To meet legal duties and handle disputes

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. We may still send emails about an order or your account.

How we share it

We may share personal information:

  • With Shopify and vendors who help us operate (payments, hosting, analytics, customer support, fulfilment, shipping)
  • With marketing and advertising partners, including Shopify’s tools for personalised ads based on activity across merchants and sites. You can opt out where the law gives you that right, including via Global Privacy Control where it applies
  • When you ask us to (for example, shipping an order, or using a social login)
  • Within our company group
  • If the business is sold or restructured, or if the law requires it

We do not sell your personal information in the everyday sense of selling a mailing list.

Shopify

The Services are hosted by Shopify. Information you submit is shared with Shopify and may be processed outside the country you live in so the shop can function. Some Shopify features also use data from your interactions with this store and other merchants. Shopify is responsible for that processing. See the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.

All artwork, text, images, product photos and other content on this website and our social media remain my copyright.

The use of my work, images, text or any other data from this website or my social media by generative AI models — including scraping, mining, training, fine-tuning or similar — is expressly forbidden.

Automated collection of content from this site for those purposes is not allowed. If you want to license artwork, email hello@natashadurley.com.

Third-party sites

Links to other sites (including natashadurley.com, publishers or social platforms) have their own policies. We are not responsible for those sites.

Children

This shop is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of majority where you live. A parent or guardian can ask us to delete a child’s information using the contact details below.

Security and how long we keep information

No online system is perfectly secure. Do not send sensitive details over an unsecured channel.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it to run your account, fulfil orders, meet legal duties, resolve disputes or enforce our terms.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may be able to:

  • Access the personal information we hold
  • Ask us to correct or delete it
  • Receive a copy or ask us to send it to someone else
  • Opt out of sale/sharing for targeted advertising
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on it

UK and EEA customers also have rights under UK GDPR / GDPR, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In the UK that is the ICO.

To use these rights, email shop@sunnybeast.com. We may need to verify it is you. We will not treat you unfairly for asking.

International transfers

Your information may be stored or processed outside the country you live in. Transfers from the UK or EEA rely on approved safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, or a country treated as adequate, where required.

Changes

We may update this policy. The new version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
